The Intelligence Cycle

The Intelligence Cycle is the process of developing raw information into finished intelligence for policymakers or business leaders to use in decision making and policy action. The Intelligence Cycle is cyclical in nature, with previous findings influencing subsequent avenues of investigation, the goal is not only to determine what one wants to know and learning it, but to remain ever receptive to new information and how it may impact the status quo. There are five steps which constitute the Intelligence Cycle.
